Flow monitoring is used prior to or upon completion of rehabilitation to

• assess wastewater collection system's inflow and infiltration
• provide quantitative analysis of system flow conditions
• recording and measuring flow depth and velocity

Collected data

• used to calculate wastewater flow rates by area and velocity
• compared with recorded water consumption and rainfall data
• provide an in-depth analysis for capacity and loading assessment

Flow monitoring locations are inspected prior to installation to ensure adequate hydraulic and site access conditions.
